This is the term used when internauts who are members of Twitter actually meet up in the real world.

  • Well, yes, it does happen, admittedly not often – a virtual encounter can lead to a real-life meeting. Be prepared, though, you can tweet up but it still might not work out: just because it’s Twitter, there’s no guarantee it’s a good relationship!
